Meet Our Director
Hello, my name is Dena Bibb, and I am proud to serve as the Center Director at Step Forward Day School in Franklin, Tennessee. I bring 26 years of experience in early childhood education, including 13 years in leadership roles. I hold a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary early childhood education and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Western Kentucky University. I am passionate about creating high-quality learning environments where children thrive and teachers feel supported.
My favorite part of working in early childhood education is watching children discover, learn, and grow with confidence. I am excited to bring a collaborative leadership style to Step Forward Day School and build strong partnerships with our families and staff. Outside of work, I enjoy fishing, gardening, spending time with my dogs, and being outdoors. I look forward to creating a welcoming community where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to learn.
